About Me

Hi. I’m Sammam Junaid, currently pursuing my LLB in Law at City, University of London. Before this, I completed my foundation in Humanities and Law at INTO City, University of London, where I received the City Progression Scholarship. I have hands-on legal experience as a Legal Assistant at GigaLegal Solicitors, where I work on asylum, immigration, and human rights cases. Alongside my academics and professional work, I am deeply involved in student life, serving as President of the Bengali Legal Network at City and as a student ambassador, supporting prospective students by sharing my experiences. As a mentor at AbroadMates, I want to help students from Bangladesh and beyond navigate the challenges of studying abroad from university applications to scholarships, law modules, extra-curriculars, and even managing life in London.
