Let me be honest, as a Bangladeshi student, Italy wasn't even on my radar. The hype around USA, UK, Canada, and Australia is unmatched back home, and nobody really talks about Italy. That changed when I discovered world-ranked universities with strong research programs and scholarships offered by almost every top public university here. I applied, got in, and completed my MSc at UNIMI with a full scholarship. Being blessed to have spent more than five years between Milan and Bologna, I know the sparks and the frustrations of both cities and of Italy as a whole.
